Legacy Projects > Fayette County, Indiana: Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow Fayette County, Indiana: Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow

Library users, staff members, Friends of the Library, Fabric Artists of Fayette County, and any interested Fayette County resident will be invited to collaborate on a community-wide art project, creating a “memory mural”. Participants will provide art and other creations (handprints, essays, short stories, etc.). The theme of the mural is Fayette County: Past Present and Future. The mural will capture the thoughts, feelings, and memories of Fayette County residents about the county’s past, present and future, during the year that our State’s bicentennial was being celebrated. The mural will be displayed on a wall in the teen area of the Fayette County Public Library.
