On February 17, 2009, the United States Government chose to issue $787 billion to qualifying entities through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). For more information on the act, visit http://www.recovery.gov/.

Large amounts of money can attract fraud and abuse. The Indiana Inspector General can investigate the misuse of federal stimulus money received by or allocated through Indiana state agencies. If you see fraud, waste, or mismanagement of ARRA money, you can report this through our investigative hotline.
