February 13, 2012: Seitz Leaves OED, Vance Appointed Director

December 2, 2011: Four Communities To Benefit From Energy Projects
Lt. Governor Becky Skillman has announced the successful applicants for the Community Conservation Challenge (CCC). The CCC program has nearly $1 million in federal grant funding available for community-wide energy efficiency, renewable energy or alternative fuel vehicle retrofit projects. Each project will bring a variety of local governments, businesses and organizations together to save energy or employ renewable energy technologies with tangible energy savings. November 15, 2011: Additional AFV and CHIP Grants Awarded
Lt. Governor Becky Skillman has announced 16 additional awards for two energy related grant programs. $4.6 million in grants will be divided between the Conserving Hoosier Industrial Power (CHIP) grant program and the Alternative Fuel Vehicles (AFV) program. Both grant programs use federal funds administered through the Indiana Office of Energy Development. Learn more about it here.
