Legacy Projects > Sustainable Joy Featuring LaManda Joy from Peterson Garden Project Sustainable Joy Featuring LaManda Joy from Peterson Garden Project

Fall Creek Gardens is an urban growers’ resource center. On Saturday, May 21, we are excited to present a fascinating conversation with LaManda Joy, founder of Peterson Garden Project in Chicago, IL. LaManda is a master gardener and author. The conversation focuses on how a community garden enhances a city and the lives of everyone it touches through social interactions and accessibility to fresh food. Other event highlights include: free admission, Q & A session, silent auctions, and cool giveaways. Donations are welcomed to help renovate Fall Creek Gardens’ building to become a food market and teaching kitchen for the community.
