“UNDER the BIG TOP: The Circus as Art in America” will be on display through July 10. This exhibit focuses on 70 works of art, beginning with 50 never-before-seen works from the MMAA Permanent Collection, augmented by 20 works by contemporary Indiana artists who have interpreted themes of circus life. Nearly 60 vintage photographs, circus posters, and other artifacts help to inform the viewer about the past 100 years of the Circus in America.
