Lakeville Historic Shadowboxes
The Town of Lakeville was ordained in 1902, yet many of the buildings in town are significantly older, some dating back to the mid- and late-1800s. Lakeville is collaborating with local Eagle Scout candidate Jacob Eggebrecht for the installation of historic shadowboxes. Jacob will construct cedar shadowboxes for the outsides of some of the historic sites in Lakeville. They will be mounted on or near the fronts of buildings and will include photos and descriptions of the original buildings.
