Legacy Projects > Fremont Historical Cemetery Walk Fremont Historical Cemetery Walk

The Fremont Historical Society’s project is a historical cemetery walk through the Historic Fremont Cemetery in Fremont, Indiana in July, 2016 and again in 2017 which is the sesquicentennial of our town. The cemetery walk is a guided tour through the Fremont cemetery. A society member dressed as a mortician will tell the history of the cemetery then highlight with stories and personal items of some of the earliest settlers to the Fremont area. The walk is free of charge, donations are welcome, and will be held during the weekend of Fremont Music Fest.
