Legacy Projects > Black History Matters Scan-A-Thon and Scholarly Talk Black History Matters Scan-A-Thon and Scholarly Talk

With the Michiana Memory initiative, the SJCPL, the IUSB Archives and the CRHC want to further reach out to the public to tie in with African American History Month and create an event that invites the public to scan their precious family photographs and other materials. Additionally, there will be an event that invites the public to attend a talk given by Dr. Kim Gallon of Purdue University to speak on her Black Press Research Collective and its ties with the Michiana Memory project.
