Legacy Projects > Historical Lincoln Highway Exhibit at Fidler Pond in Goshen Historical Lincoln Highway Exhibit at Fidler Pond in Goshen

We are going to construct a 10’ diameter open air gazebo in the midst of a walking garden at a well populated Goshen city park, accessible by young and old, travelers and local visitors. Inside the gazebo will be several panels describing the development of the Lincoln Highway 103 years ago, its significance to tourism and the auto industry, its popularity locally and nationally, and why the Lincoln Highway is still important today. The park and the gazebo are on the original route of the Lincoln Highway across northern Indiana.
