Indiana Bicentennial Celebration 2016

Amber Alert
Amber Alert - TEST

Legacy Projects > Indiana through the Camera Lens Indiana through the Camera Lens

Five programs are planned to celebrate the blending of peoples and cultures that became the foundation of our county. Four different films will be presented at the Michigan City Public Library. Preceding each film, members of the La Porte County (IN) Genealogical Society will provide a researched introduction of county people who lived during the time frame and who were tied into the premise of the film. These films reflect the fabric of early La Porte County and Indiana culture. They show us who we were, and how, over time, we became who we are today. The fifth program will feature descendants of our earliest residents, a group of Native American dancers.
