Legacy Projects > Bicentenni-Ale Bicentenni-Ale

Beer and brewing has been a continuous part of Indiana’s history. While much of the 20th century showed a marked decline in the state’s brewing industry, today the Indiana brewer is back. More than 100 commercial artisan brewers now call Indiana home and contribute greatly to the life and culture in cities and towns all over the state. Brewers around the state will be crafting beers made in Indiana with ingredients grown in Indiana. These may include special malts, grains, hops, fruit and herbs. Our project, by encouraging Indiana brewers to look close to home for ingredients that will make their products stand out will help bring attention to Indiana farmers and Indiana beverages alike. Talk to your local brewer to find out more.
