The town of Bremen is planning a number of events for Indiana’s Bicentennial year 2016. The main event is the revival of Oktoberfest. This will include 100+ craft  and specialty vendors, entertainment (amateur and professional), food (German, Mexican, Amish), community events (golf tournament, 200 tree planting, planting of blue and gold flowers), and fun family competitive events that include current and past favorites like bed and tricycle races, nail pounding, cow chip throwing and pumpkin carving! The Bicentennial torch is also scheduled to travel through Bremen on October 4, 2016.
