Legacy Projects > A Town Born of Victory – Orleans video A Town Born of Victory – Orleans video

<i>A Town Born of Victory</i> is a video presentation that will introduce viewers to the Town of Orleans and educate them about the town, from its very beginnings to the present day. The content will include overviews of the town’s history within the following categories: Business and commerce; education; natural disasters; religion and recreation.

Included within the video, and following its narrative, will be interviews with local people, old photographs and film clips, excerpts from letters and journals written by people in the town’s past, and more. The key to a town’s identity lies within the pages of its history, and the manifestation of that identity is the action taken by the town’s people. Through <i>A Town Born of Victory</i>, the goal is to make everyone aware of the spirit that began in Orleans (and so many like it), and to refresh and renew that spirit among the citizens of all rural Indiana towns.
