Acquisition of 3 parcels totaling 39 acres along the White River, just south of the Town of Spencer.  The property is composed of current and retired agricultural fields, and riparian corridor.  The purchase will facilitate development of a 1 mile trail linking Coopers Park with the DNR Public Access site.  A longer-term goal is to complete a trail linking the Town to McCormick’s Creek State Park.  This is the second BNT project in Owen County.
