Legacy Projects > Whitley County Nature Preserve – Bicentennial Nature Trust Whitley County Nature Preserve – Bicentennial Nature Trust

A 52-acre addition to an existing 80-acre state dedicated nature preserve.  The addition is split between re-forested uplands and a US Fish and Wildlife Service wetland restoration.  The property is an annual nesting area for Herons.  This is the first BNT project in Whitley County.
