Legacy Projects > Wabash River Conservation Area – Bicentennial Nature Trust Wabash River Conservation Area – Bicentennial Nature Trust

Purchase of 231 acres in the Healthy Rivers INitiative Wabash River Conservation Area.  The property is primarily low-lying land overgrown with timber and bushes.  This purchase will protect critical riparian wildlife habitat and the water quality of the Wabash River, while ensuring access to outdoor recreational opportunities.  This acquisition is located in Vigo County.
