Legacy Projects > Beaver Dam Ditch – Bicentennial Nature Trust Beaver Dam Ditch – Bicentennial Nature Trust

Purchase of 31 acres to be developed as the Beaver Dam Ditch and Pond Nature Park in Lake County.  The property is a drained wetland currently used for agriculture.  A small creek known as Beaver Dam Ditch runs through the property.  Plans call for developing a 17-acre pond to create natural habitat, recreation opportunities, and to provide flood control.
