Indiana Bicentennial Celebration 2016

Legacy Projects > Greene County Courthouse Bell Relocation Greene County Courthouse Bell Relocation

This project was initially started as one for Bloomfield’s Rotary during the Bicentennial year to recognize Gen. Nathanael Greene, who is our county’s namesake. With collaboration between Bloomfield Rotary, Greene County Commissioners, Greene County Courthouse and BloomBank, Greene County’s bell, which was built in 1886, was restored and moved. The bell was placed in a beautiful gazebo where it will be available for visitors to see.
