Indiana Bicentennial Celebration 2016

Legacy Projects > Bicentennial Trees at Courthouse Bicentennial Trees at Courthouse

The Greene County Courthouse purchased two trees, and Bradfield’s Landscaping (a Greene County business) donated five. Bloomfield Elementary Student Council members walked to the courthouse the day the Bicentennial torch was in Greene County and planted the seven trees with the help of Greene County’s commissioners. The trees represent the grade levels at Bloomfield Elementary: kindergarten through 6th. The trees were planted on the lawn of the Greene County courthouse.
