Indiana Bicentennial Celebration 2016

Legacy Projects > Brownsburg Public Library Bicentennial Birthday Bash Brownsburg Public Library Bicentennial Birthday Bash

To coincide with the Bicentennial torch relay coming through Hendricks County on September 23, we’ve put together a variety of activities for all ages during September. A special exhibit from the Indiana Historical Society, “Who is a Hoosier,” will open on September 13. Displays from the Hendricks County Historical Society will be featured, a scavenger hunt will run all month, and book discussions will center on Indiana authors, featuring the Indiana Next bookshelf. State trees and flowers will be planted on library grounds, and Indiana-themed programming will all be part of this birthday celebration that is open to all. We hope you can celebrate with us as we embrace our Hoosier heritage!
