This downtown festival is one of a kind, set in the shadows of the Indiana Cotton Mill, a massive sandstone structure listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The week will start off with a parade celebrating Indiana’s 200th birthday. Historical walking tours will also be included in the bicentennial celebration. On the day of the festival, artisans and craftsmen will be set up in front of historic late 1800s storefronts on the town’s Main Street. Demonstrations by experienced tradesmen will feature skills and talents practiced by the early settlers of Cannelton.
