In addition to the inaugural deployment of artillery MidStates Living History Association presents a medical impression with a hospital tent, surgeon, hospital steward including a civil war presentation including music, cooking daily life of a soldier, women’s support efforts. It is the Association’s distinct honor to feature General Wallace as seen in the PBS TV documentary film “Lew Wallace: Shiloh Soldier, Ben-Hur Bard.”  The dakies of the Sanitary and Christian Commission provide a complete window into Indiana History during 1816-1865.
