Indiana Bicentennial Celebration 2016

Originally conceived as “Centennial Plaza” in 1913, this area to the west of the statehouse will encompass three separate projects to limit vehicular traffic, redefine the hard surfaces and landscaping for the area, and provide artistic spaces to highlight each county’s history and unique place in the State, inter a time capsule, and present a representational art piece of the iconic torch.
