The Indiana Department of Transportation has developed a draft carbon reduction strategy (CRS) to support efforts to reduce carbon dioxide emissions. Following the guidelines set out by the federal government in the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, the CRS lays out Indiana's context and action plan for reducing on-road carbon emissions. The draft document is available for public review and comment through January 30, 2023.
