Skid Steer Wetting System

This INDOT innovation adds a wetting system to pavement cutting equipment to improve visibility and reduce dust during operations. Without water, silica dust can make it difficult for operators to see their work and can also reduce visibility for passing drivers. The wetting system keeps dust down, improving safety for workers and the traveling public. Many private contractors use similar systems, and this upgrade helps INDOT meet the same safety standards.
