Bridge Washing Hose Guide

This INDOT innovation introduces a hose guide designed to rest directly on the bridge rail during washing operations. By supporting the weight of the hose, the guide reduces strain and sprain risks for employees who would otherwise have to lift and drag heavy hose lines along the concrete barrier. Preventing the hose from rubbing against the bridge rail also minimizes wear and damage, helping extend equipment life. This tool makes bridge‑cleaning safer, more efficient, and less physically demanding for maintenance crews.
