Scene Lighting

This INDOT innovation improves nighttime visibility for crews responding to crashes, downed trees, and storm debris. Limited lighting can make it difficult and unsafe for workers to see the scene or access equipment in low‑light conditions.
The upgrade adds a front bumper‑mounted flood and spotlight, a top‑mounted spotlight for wider scene coverage, and additional flood lights on the headache rack that illuminate the truck bed. These improvements help crews work more safely and efficiently during nighttime operations.
