Pinnacle Brace

This INDOT innovation strengthens traffic signal heads by adding a metal pinnacle brace to their plastic housing. High winds can cause plastic signal heads to crack or break, leading to frequent repairs and replacements. The metal brace reinforces the signal head, making it more durable and resistant to wind damage.
By reducing breakage, this improvement saves time, lowers repair costs, and helps keep signals functioning safely and reliably.
