Circuit Tester

This INDOT innovation makes it easier and more cost‑effective to troubleshoot lighting issues in traffic signals. Technicians previously had to rely on inline fuses during testing, which often blew repeatedly and made it difficult to pinpoint where a short was located.
The new circuit tester replaces those fuses with a resettable breaker. When a short is detected, the breaker trips and can be reset immediately, allowing more testing without wasting parts. This simple tool speeds up diagnostics, lowers costs, and reduces the need for bucket truck work on tall signals.
