Comments
The bridge has current commercial load rating of 9 tons and an emergency vehicle load posting of 12 ton single axle, 14 ton tandem axle, and 20 ton gross. The bridge was reconstructed in 1983 and rehabilitated in 2002. The 1983 reconstruction consisted of the replacement of the floor beams and stringers. The 2002 rehabilitation repairs included the replacement of three (3) interior stringers in bays one and two; replacement and repair of portions of the low chord truss members, end post diagonal truss members, and vertical and diagonal truss members; cleaning and painting of the bridge; and replacement of the timber deck with a 3-inch steel open grate deck.
