The bridge over I-465 at Township Line Road will be replaced beginning summer 2025. The project will replace a four-span, multi-girder bridge first constructed in 1966 and rehabilitated in 1981. The contractor, Rieth-Riley Construction Company Inc., will replace this structure with a two-span, continuous, pre-stressed concrete, bulb-tee bridge. The proposed bridge will support two 12-foot travel lanes with one 6-foot 4-inch shoulder and one 2-foot shoulder and a 12-foot 8-inch multi-use path.
The project is located on Township Line Road where it crosses over I-465 in Washington and Pike Townships in Indianapolis.
The anticipated completion for this project is spring 2026.
