Statistics show that there is a need for improvement of safety at S.R. 9 and S.R 234. There were 24 crashes in 2022-2024, there are over 70% of crashes compared to similar intersections and three of four intersection legs operate at congested levels of service in the current year. All four intersection legs operate at acceptable levels to th
e 2045 design year and reduction in number of crashes.
