Important W-2 Information
Access your W-2 in PeopleSoft Employee Self Service (ESS).
If you did not consent to electronic delivery, your W-2 will be mailed after January 31.
Need a reprint? Requests open February 1, 2026 through your facility payroll coordinator.
Preservice Academy Launches January 5th
Beginning January 5, 2026, IDOC will launch a new 4-week Preservice Academy for new employees, based on lessons learned from pilot programs and staff feedback.
The updated model is designed to streamline onboarding, improve readiness, and support long-term success.
What's Changing
- One regional, 4-week academy
- Smoother transition to on-the-job training
- Extended mentorship
These updates focus on preparing staff to success quickly, safely, and confidently.
Veteran staff may support this effort by serving as adjunct instructors, Field Training Officers (FTOs), or mentors.
