Correctional Allyship is a three-part training series that explores how to build strong supportive ally relationships in the workplace. The program is designed for correctional professionals and focuses on practical ways to influence, support, and advocate for colleagues and those in our care.

Provides a clear framework for understanding what allyship is and identifies they key characteristics needed to be a supportive colleague.
Allyship in Practice
Develops allyship as an ongoing professional skill set through structured learning, reflection, and practice. Participants learn the elements of a strong ally and how to turn intent into consistent action.
Allyship in Action
Focuses on applying skills to real-world, high-stress scenarios commonly encountered in correctional environments and within day-to-day operations.
Together, these sessions support DWE's mission to develop, educate, and sustain correctional professionals through workforce engagement, and its vision to influence and inspire professional through guidance and support.
