E-911/Dispatch

The Communications Center is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week by 12 full-time dispatchers, with additional shift coverage provided by part-time dispatchers.

For each shift, at least two dispatchers have the responsibility of answering all 911 emergency and non-emergency business calls directed to the Noble County Sheriff’s Department.

In addition, radio communications are handled for the Sheriff’s Department, five other police agencies, seven fire departments, and the County Probation Department including the Welfare Office and County Highway Department after hours.

Jay Cheshier currently serves as the 911 Director and Kelly Landers currently serves as the Asst. 911 Director/Supervisor.
