Churches in Redkey
Faith and fellowship have long played an important role in the Redkey community. Our town is home to several welcoming churches that serve as places of worship, community support, and spiritual growth. Whether you're seeking a church home, looking for ways to get involved, or just visiting, Redkey’s churches offer opportunities to connect, serve, and grow.
Redkey’s rich spiritual history stretches back to the pioneer period. One of the earliest established congregations, the Methodist Episcopal (M.E.) Church has roots reaching deep into the town’s beginnings. Its first church building, an impressive brick structure, was erected in 1866 at a cost of $12,000. Designed to seat approximately 1,000 people, the building was furnished with opera chairs, a gallery and an auditorium floor, and featured a large pipe organ valued at $2,000. It stood as a symbol of the town's strong early commitment to faith, music, and community gathering.
Below you'll find information about our local congregations, their service times, and ways to get involved.
