- Ranges and Weapons Systems
The full complement of traditional ranges and venues at Atterbury-Muscatatuck offers boundless possibilities for full-immersion training. Leaders have a wide selection of venues from which to plan realistic and intensive training programs, including at Muscatatuck Urban Training Complex, the DOD's largest urban training facility, and the Bowden Drop Zone, one of the longest personnel drop zones east of the Mississippi River.
Atterbury-Muscatatuck also has Live Fire Shoot Houses, Breach Houses, multiple small village/MOUT* sites, an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) Defeat Lane, and an Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) launch and recovery area with a paved 1,800-foot runway.

- Range Facility Management Support System (RFMSS)
The primary way to schedule ranges is through the Range Facility Management Support System (RFMSS). When you visit the RFMSS page, you will be asked to log in or “Request a New Account.” Please click here to go to RFMSS.
- Troop Issue - Billeting
Troop Issue-Billeting covers approximately 153 acres. Our mission is to provide timely, safe and sanitary facilities for soldiers and civilians conducting training at Camp Atterbury.
- Directorate of Logistics
DOL, located in Building 3 on Clark Street, provides or coordinates general supply assistance (classes I-IV, VIII, IX); subsistence, food service assistance, transportation and maintenance support, annual training and inactive duty training planning assistance and support. The Atterbury Rail Deployment Facility (ARDF) or “Camp Atterbury Railhead” and staging area are also located within DOL.
- Directorate of Resource Management
DRM supports the training requirements of customers and stakeholders who train at Atterbury-Muscatatuck, including overseeing and managing the proper execution of federal funds and the receipt of billing estimates and invoices for non-DOD, nonfederal customers and stakeholders who utilize resources at Atterbury-Muscatatuck. - Training Support Center
The TSC at Camp Atterbury provides a variety of training aids, devices, simulators and simulations (TADSS) to every supported unit and soldier within our area of operation, which enable commanders and units to accomplish training objectives and successfully operate across an ever-evolving full-spectrum of conflict. TSC team members are committed to providing you with products and services of the highest quality every time. Your feedback is valuable, and suggestions are always welcome. Before You Train

- STEP ONE: Download the MUTC Facility Request form below. In Adobe Acrobat Pro, select the Tools tab, then Fill & Sign.
- STEP TWO: Contact the MUTC Scheduler at 317-247-3300, Ext. 41777. The MUTC Scheduler will assist you in discussing training objectives and planning a site visit. A site visit is strongly encouraged for units who have not previously visited MUTC.
- STEP THREE: Completely fill out the MUTC Facility Request form and email – do not scan or fax – to MUTC Operations / Scheduling. NOTE: Because our training dates fill up very quickly, your request should be completed 90-120 days prior to your proposed training date. To ensure your training requirements are met, please fill out the facility request form completely and be as detailed as possible in the “Summary of Training” block.
