About Monroe County Emergency Management Agency (MCEMA)

MCEMA is a coordinating agency that works with local agencies, nonprofit organizations, the state, and federal government agencies to request potential resources and assistance programs to help those who were impacted by a disaster within Monroe County.

MCEMA focuses on promoting emergency preparedness and continuity of operations throughout the county.

Mission Statement: To establish and maintain a progressive emergency management program that promotes the mitigation of, preparation for, the response to, and the recovery from emergencies and disasters impacting the public, government, and businesses of the communities in Monroe County.
