As a recipient of federal funds, Greater Lafayette Public Transportation Corporation (GLPTC, “CityBus”) has the responsibility to use prudent procurement practices in its purchasing activities. The procurement of quality products, cost-effective equipment, and services is a high priority for our agency. Listed below are current invitations.

Current Invitations for Bid and Requests for Proposals

Fire Alarm Control Panel & Monitoring

The Greater Lafayette Public Transportation Corporation (CityBus or GLPTC) is seeking quotes from qualified firm(s) to integrate a new Fire Alarm, Access Control, and Security Control Panel.

Fleet Maintenance & Operations Best Practices Consulting

The Greater Lafayette Public Transportation Corporation (CityBus or GLPTC) is seeking proposals from qualified firm(s) to provide consultant services to conduct Fleet Maintenance and Operations Best Practices Consulting to evaluate and review current fleet maintenance and operations practices, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide practical, industry-informed recommendations that strengthen existing processes and support team success.  The work will also include ongoing support for Fleet and Operations Managers to manage implementations of recommendations over time.

Public Corporation Board Legal Services

The Greater Lafayette Public Transportation Corporation (CityBus or GLPTC) is seeking proposals from qualified firm(s) to provide consultant services to conduct ongoing Public Corporation Board Legal Services in matters of municipal and public corporation law, governance, compliance, and agency operations. The selected attorney or law firm ("Contractor") shall serve as legal advisor to the Board of Directors and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and provide representation, drafting, review, and advisory services necessary to support CityBus in fulfilling its statutory and operational responsibilities.

Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Participation for CityBus Procurements

The Greater Lafayette Public Transportation Corporation (CityBus) hereby announces its goals for procurement from Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) for Federal Transit Administration (FTA) funded transportation program for Federal Fiscal Years 2024 to 2026. The overall goal is 0.98% annually.
