Jail Recovery Assistance Program

What Do We Do?

The Jail Recovery Assistance Program (JRAP) is an intensive addiction recovery program located inside the Henry County Jail. JRAP operates in its own dedicated wing, with separate dorms for men and women to provide a focused and supportive environment.

Participants take part in daily cognitive-behavioral psychoeducational classes Monday through Friday, designed to build skills for long-term recovery. In addition, each participant receives weekly one-on-one therapy with a trained clinician. Individual therapy sessions address past trauma and use a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches to promote healing, resilience, and successful reintegration into the community.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide evidenced based addiction education and treatment to incarcerated individuals in Henry County. We strive to assist our clients in learning coping skills, healing trauma, building resilience, and developing their spirituality to facilitate a satisfying and substance free future.

Our Vision

Our vision is to see incarceration transformed into an opportunity for reformation. With caring, compassionate, and effective substance addiction treatment, incarcerated individuals can begin their lives anew, returning to the community as contributing citizens and breaking the addiction/incarceration cycle.
