The Henry County Health Department’s Environmental Health Division regulates and inspects public and semi-public pools and spas to ensure safe and healthy swimming environments. This includes pools at hotels, apartments, clubs, schools, parks, and other public facilities.

Our responsibilities include:

Pool Operator Responsibilities

  • Maintain proper disinfectant and pH levels at all times
  • Keep filtration systems clean and functional
  • Ensure safety equipment is available and in good working condition
  • Keep daily water quality records on site for review during inspections

Seasonal & Routine Inspections
Public and semi-public pools are inspected  periodically throughout the year to ensure continued compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
