We offer free and low-cost screenings, including STI testing, TB skin testing, and blood lead testing, with flexible scheduling options to meet your needs. Walk-ins are welcome, and appointments are available for added convenience.

Availability of Screening and Treatment Services - Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI)
The Henry County Health Department offers confidential screening and treatment services for individuals 18 years and older. Anyone under 18 is encouraged to seek services through the Family Planning Center.

TB Skin Testing
Hours:
Monday through Wednesday
8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Closed daily from 12:00 – 1:00 PM for lunch

$25
Important Information:
TB skin testing requires two visits. You must return within 48 hours for the test to be read. Results cannot be provided if the test is not read within this time frame.

Blood Lead Testing

Important Information:
We offer a capillary testing (a finger stick) for all ages to collect a small blood sample. Finger sticks are ideal for screening, while venous tests are necessary to confirm elevated levels. Venous testing takes blood from the vein, this is only provided for case mangement investigations.
