About the Office:
Brianne Gregory, Monroe County Auditor
The Office of the County Auditor was first established by legislation in 1841. However, in 1844, it was abolished in certain counties. With the adoption of Indiana’s second constitution in 1851, the office was reestablished in all counties and has remained a constitutional office ever since.
The County Auditor serves as the Chief Financial Officer of the county.
The Auditor’s Office is open Monday-Friday 8AM-4PM. Closed major holidays and election days.
