Access Indiana
Access Indiana is the authentication (login) solution created by the Office of Technology for applications that require either strictly external or internal & external users. Built into the solution is multi-factor authentication, identity verification through Socure and federation with the State's Active Directory. Agencies have approximately 150 applications and there are more than 3 million users.

Cisco AppDynamics
The Indiana Office of Technology and other state agencies, including the Professional Licensing Agency and Department of Workforce Development, leverage Cisco's AppDynamics to manage and improve application performance.
- Application Performance Management: Monitor and manage the end-to-end performance of complex distributed applications.

IT System Management (ITSM)
ServiceNow
The primary objective of ITSM is to enhance employee productivity and satisfaction by facilitating prompt and efficient support for issue resolution. In 2025, IOT began the transition from Alemba (ASM) to ServiceNow.
Users can easily report an issue ot the IOT Customer Service Desk through the Employee Center (select "Report an Issue to IOT") or by phone at 317-234-4357.
By the numbers: The IOT portal contains more than 160 distinct request types along with various resources including Knowledge Articles, the Change Management Dashboard, options to submit ServiceNow Suggestions, and the ability to propose projects to IOT.

The Indiana Office of Technology supports the use of the Microsoft Power Platform suite of Low-Code/No-Code tools and services. The Power Platform suite of technologies is designed to empower users to create custom applications, automated processes, and analyze data without the need for extensive coding of technical expertise. The Power Platform includes the following technologies:
- Power Apps – low-code application development platform that allows users to create custom apps.
- Power Automate – automation platform that enables users to create workflows and automate business processes.
- Power BI – data visualization and business intelligence tool.
- Power Pages – platform for creating, hosting, and administering modern external-facing business websites.
- Power Virtual Agents – development platform that enables the creation of AI-powered chatbots without code.

Application Programming Interface (API) and File Transfers
The Indiana Office of Technology supports two statewide data transmission platforms: MuleSoft API Management for API services and GoAnywhere MFT for managed file transfer services.
MuleSoft API Management

MuleSoft is a platform that empowers users to integrate data and systems, automate workflows and processes, and create incredible digital experiences — all on a single, easy-to-use platform. The platform is secured at the highest government standards to safeguard APIs and integrations using our FedRAMP-compliant Government Cloud environment, supported by continuous security monitoring. The MuleSoft platform includes the following technologies:
- API Designer: Web-based tool to easily design, develop, deploy, and document APIs.
- Anypoint Connectors: Suite of prebuilt connectors to build integrations quickly and securely.
- API Manager: Manage, govern, and secure APIs deployed to the Anypoint platform.
IOT MuleSoft Center for Enablement (C4E) assists agencies in the creation, management, and consultation of MuleSoft API solutions. GoAnywhere MFT

GoAnywhere is a secure managed file transfer solution that streamlines the exchange of data between systems, employees, customers, and partners. GoAnywhere's workflow automation eliminates the use of multiple products to handle business processes and features end-to-end encryption for file transfers. GoAnywhere MFT provides detailed audit logs for maintaining compliance with regulations and privacy laws and connects to a wide variety of systems for exchanging data:
- Secure FTP servers using SFTP, SCP and FTPS protocols
- AS2 and HTTP(S) servers, including Web Services
- Standard FTP and Email servers
- Local file systems, network shares and MQ servers
- Moving data to and from Amazon S3 Buckets and Azure Blob Storage

Tableau
MPH is available to assist state agencies with Tableau
Tableau is a modern visual analytics platform and is available for licensed users as part of a state contract with Tableau. The Indiana Management Performance Hub (MPH) is available to assist agency users with licensing, account setup and training. MPH can also help agencies gain access to shared production and development server environments available for use.
The service is primarily used by business intelligence (BI) developers to create customized dashboards that display raw data in a more easy-to-understand, visual format.
Additionally, MPH hosts a business intelligence group meetup Tableau and other BI software users within the State of Indiana to share best practices, collaborate and discuss trending topics.
