Payment Processing

The IN.gov program provides and manages two payment processing vendors, NIC Indiana and Value Payment Systems (VPS). Both are partners with the State of Indiana providing products and services to manage every aspect of the payment lifecycle and bring the convenience and security of electronic payments to your agency.

The payment processing services provided by both companies have been tailored for the unique requirements of Indiana and its governmental entities. IN.gov recently completed an RFP for new Payment Processing contracts. The two incumbents (NIC-Indiana and VPS) have been awarded the new payment processing contracts. The new contracts will go into effect in October 2022. Below are the new contract summaries that will go into effect this fall:
