Skin Testing
TB skin testing is available to Porter County residents at both our Valparaiso and Portage offices. A $15 cash fee is required. Please bring a valid picture ID when presenting for testing.
Blood Testing
The QuantiFERON-TB Gold (QFT) blood test is a simple blood draw used to detect if a person has been infected with Mycobacterium tuberculosis, the bacteria that causes tuberculosis (TB).
$30.00 Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays.

Walk-in: Monday-Wednesday & Friday 9:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.
(No TB testing on Thursdays at our Valparaiso location)
- Portage Office
Walk-in: Mondays: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Office is closed from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Tuberculosis Treatment
Physicians may refer patients who are Porter County residents for treatment of both latent tuberculosis and active tuberculosis disease. Treatment provided complies with the Center for Disease Control and Prevention and is available free of charge to patients.
