Environmental Division duties include but are not limited to:
Process complaints and perform initial inspections on housing, sewage, animals, trash/debris, illegal burning, hazardous materials, and other environmental concerns.
Perform Tattoo/Piercing Studio inspections by routine and complaint basis, as well as process Tattoo/Piercing licenses.
Perform testing and inspections of county pools by routine and complaint, as well as processing pool samples sent from certified laboratories.
Overview residential onsite septic systems - includes: site visits, plan reviews, issuing permits and completing inspections.
Vector Control - setting gravid taps to monitor mosquitos, mosquito control (larvicide), and tick dragging
