In 2026, employees and spouses on the State employee health plan will continue to have the opportunity to earn up to $500 in gift card rewards through the Wellness Rewards Program. With more than 20 rewardable activities to choose from, the program allows you to customize your wellness journey.

This year, the Wellness Rewards Program portal has transitioned from ActiveHealth to a new wellness partner, Mobile Health Consumer. Mobile Health Consumer will continue providing an engaging way to participate in and get rewarded for completing wellness activities.

What is new for 2026?

• Digital Care Paths: Evidence-based therapies to prevent, manage, or treat medical disorders. Log in to your Mobile Health Consumer portal and navigate to the Digital Care Paths from the Wellbeing page. Choose from more than 15 paths on topics such as diabetes prevention, managing anxiety, pregnancy, healthy blood pressure, and more. Earn $5 for starting a Digital Care Path (can only be earned one time), and an additional $45 for completing your chosen path. It takes at least 10 weeks to complete a Digital Care Path.
• Health Journeys: Personalized learning and behavior change modules that empower users to lead healthier lives. Work at your own pace to complete steps along a personalized path, based on your assessed needs. Log in to your Mobile Health Consumer portal and navigate to the Wellbeing page, then choose from a list of Health Journey options. Earn $25 for each completed eligible Health Journey, up to $100 for four completed Health Journeys. It takes 8-10 weeks to complete each Health Journey.
• Access: The challenge portal is no longer available to all State employees, as the new portal is exclusively available to employees and spouses on the State employee health plan.

What is changing?

• Health Habits: Healthy habits are small, feel-good actions you can do every day that can make a big difference in your health and well-being. Log in to your Mobile Health Consumer portal and navigate to the Healthy Habits on the Wellbeing page and choose the Healthy Habit you want to start tracking. Check-in each day you successfully complete the habit. Earn $5 each for 25, 50, and 100 Healthy Habit check-ins up to $15.
• Agency Health Assessment Battle: A competition between agencies to complete the most Health Assessments in January. Agencies will be divided into four groups by agency size. Any individual who is in a winning agency AND has completed their Health Assessment by January 31, 2026, will receive $25 in wellness rewards for completing their Health Assessment and an additional $25 for winning the battle.
• Physical Activity Tracking: Sync your device to the Mobile Health Consumer portal to track your steps and physical activity. Earn $5 for tracking 10,000 steps or 30 minutes of physical activity for 15 days in a month. Earn an additional $10 for tracking 10,000 steps or 30 minutes of physical activity for 25 days in a month. You can earn up to $180 for Physical Activity Tracking in 2026.
• Team Step Challenges: Earn $10 by participating in a Team Step Challenge. To earn the reward, you must sync a device to the Mobile Health Consumer portal and track at least 7,000 steps each day of the two-week step challenge. Steps cannot be self-reported. There will be four Team Step Challenges in 2026, so you can earn up to $40 in wellness rewards through this activity.
• Individual Health Coaching: Anthem will conduct Individual Health Coaching in 2026. Health coaching gives you access to qualified professionals that help you create a custom plan to meet your health goals. Call 1-877-814-9709 to schedule your first appointment with a health coach. Earn $20 in wellness rewards for each health coaching session completed with Anthem, up to $100.
• Gift cards: In 2026, there is no limit to the number of gift cards you can redeem and no minimum amount that needs to be redeemed per gift card. Once redeemed in the Mobile Health Consumer rewards center, your gift cards will be instantly available.

Get started in the Mobile Health Consumer portal

Set up your Mobile Health Consumer account and get started on your 2026 wellness goals while earning up to $500 in wellness rewards.

• Visit the Mobile Health Consumer portal.
• Click the “Register your account” button.
• Fill in the text boxes with your name as it appears on your insurance card, date of birth, and zip code.

• Log in to Anthem.com.
• Navigate to the Programs page in the My Health Dashboard menu.
• Scroll down to the Mobile Health Consumer tile and click Learn More.

Or

• Log in to the Sydney app.
• Scroll down to the My Programs section and tap View All.
• Scroll down to and tap the Mobile Health Consumer tile.
