Ron Allen served 27 years as a Law Enforcement officer prior to joining the staff at the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy in March of 2022.
During that time, Ron worked for Markleville PD, IDOC, Las Vegas PD. and an Advisor for ICITAP in Iraq.
He holds certifications as a Generalist Instructor, EVO Instructor, Physical Tactics Instructor, STOPS Instructor, Master Taser Instructor, Active Shooter Instructor, STOP the Bleed Instructor and NARCAN Instructor. In September of 2025, he was awarded the distinction of Master Instructor by the ILEA Master Instructor Committee.
In his spare time Ron enjoys golfing and spending time with his grandkids.
