Michael Clabaugh started his law enforcement career in 2012 and spent the next 10 years working throughout Washington State and Montana. During his career, Michael was an instructor in patrol tactics, TAZER, ballistic shield, report writing and traffic stops. He was a police training officer, held the rank of Sergeant and was the program director for a youth program dedicated to training and mentoring individuals interested in a career in law enforcement.
In 2024, Michael contracted with the U.S. Government conducting high threat protection operations overseas in the middle east. Michael was tasked with safeguarding the lives of high-ranking government officials and as well infrastructures and facilities.
Michael joined ILEA in February 2026. He has been married since 2018 and has three children. Michael operates a small farm where he raises sheep and chickens. He is active in his church and strong in his faith.
